Nigel Noble's Oracle Blog

I’m a Oracle Performance DBA with over 20 years experience of Oracle. Much of this time has been on high transactional systems.  I am currently a Oracle DBA within the Performance Services group of Betfair based in London. Betfair runs a large Betting Exchange and has one of the hottest transactional Oracle databases in the world.

Many years ago I worked for Churchill Insurance and was involved in a large (at the time) database migration. I wrote a paper/presentation called “Techniques For Fast Database Re-Organization”.

  4. Hi Nigel,
Did you work at Matt transport in the very distant past? I seem to remember your name from when I (possibly)worked along side you as a DBA.
    Regards, Steve
